Cipla gets FDA nod for ramipril capsules

MUMBAI, Aug 12 – Indian drugmaker Cipla Ltd has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market ramipril capsules, the regulator’s website showed.

The drug, a generic version of Altace, owned by King Pharmaceutical Inc , is indicated in treating cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure.
