India’s Tata Teleservices Q1 net loss widens to 347.15 million rupees

MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) – Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd. said its first-quarter net loss widened to 347.15 million rupees, compared with 284.29 million rupees the previous year.

The Tata group company said total revenues for the three months to the end of June rose to 5.05 billion rupees from 4.09 billion rupees the year earlier.

The company said its subscriber base rose by 62 percent to 5.6 million.
