ST PETERSBURG, Russia (Reuters) – The Western financial crisis means the fast-growing economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China will grow their share of the world economy even faster than originally forecast, the founder of the four-nation BRIC concept told Reuters.
The term BRIC was coined by Wall Street bank Goldman Sachs to describe how the four rising economies are likely to rival and overtake many of the West’s leading economies over the next half century. Read the rest of this entry »

NEW DELHI: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution provider SAP Labs is likely to pick a strategic 10-15 per cent stake in Newgen Software, a product company based in New Delhi.
The funds raised would enable Newgen to roll out its services in countries in Western Europe. According to sources, Newgen is looking at raising funds before it goes public in 2010. Read the rest of this entry »

The closest rival to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is ready to get an upgrade. Browser developer Mozilla has announced June release for its popular browser, Firefox.
Firefox 3 promises to add several new features that will enhance the users browsing experience as well as make it for secure. In fact, Mozilla claims that Firefox 3.0 will run twice as fast as the previous version while using less memory.
