Punj Lloyd wins 6.49 bln rupee refinery upgrade contract from IOC

MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) – India’s Punj Lloyd Ltd. said it has won a 6.49 billion rupee contract to help upgrade Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.’s (IOC) Barauni refinery.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the turnkey contract — towards improving quality of the refinery’s motor spirit (gasoline) to meet Euro-III norms — entails engineering, procurement and construction services.
It is scheduled to be commissioned within 23 months. Source CNBC
